could have but didn't

amber and i could have had almost the best weekend. with fri already locked in as epic, our sat plan was looking pretty top too. a walking tour through east london to check out street art with mon. then dizzy rascal was opening boxpark (tc work) at 1pm. meet up with carly and/or brenden, then probs a bit of afternoon shared plate at casa blue with fish bowls to get the party started. sounds good right, and pretty easy to do. wrong with our scattered brains

first we miss our bus by 30 seconds. we headed out on the 308 bus to spitalfields market, wrong spitalfields. since when was the more than one! all went down hill from there. we bus then over ground then some more over ground and end up in hackney roaming the streets trying to get our selves to the market after we decide, lets get food, dizzy wont come on till later, loads of time. we can see london fields in sight when we find out that tc just met dizzy. totes was pissed at that point. lucky broadway is an amazing market. cheered us up a little. then it was too cold to so headed home but then we stumbled upon this place...

this was a crazy place was half taxidermist, half museum, half gallery, half sexpo all mixed into one jumbled little package. it kinda made up for the missed out day.  i didnt pay the extra £3 so to take as many photo's as you want. i've just been to the zoology museum and then this place. too many animal bones of late- but they are still way cool. here's the site for this horror shop http://viktorwyndofhackney.co.uk/

so thank you todd for getting me into one sick place. the shoreditch house. epic really. it's just a this little members only, top 3 level exclusive club with own rooftop pool, bars, restaurant, cinema even a god damn bowling alley. needless to say awesome!!! it was a christmas party for the new box park. we missed out on the free booze but didnt really matter. the music was good, new people i met where cool and for once a place that was open till 3!!! we headed out to leave but ended up on another level in some other bar playing pac man!!! such a good night, but the cherry on the top was the amazing kebab we had. i asked this guy for a bite of his at the bus stop and was totes sold on it. i feel like one now, sew good!

christmas time in the city

oxford st

st. pancras station
 lego tree- so effing cool!
 tottenham rd
startford

its like this everywhere with christmas lurking out of the shadows of november and into the fairy lights of dec. it's magical and like something out of a movie being all cold, very northern hemi. i loves it. i guess coz it's what you see on tv and in film, it kinda makes it more like christmas even though back home it's warming up and xmas is usually spent eating seafood for entree, rolling around on the grass and testing out new summer toys/clothes. i'm lucky enough to have my sister + her family and dad to spend it with. i hope everyone back here get's some snow for a white christmas!!!

wolf and moon

found this stall at broadway and this shit was banana's. i dont think there was anything i didn't like there. this is the one i ended up with "coz like triangles are like totes in babes" mines a little different though. silver mirror is in the middle n the black sparkle is around it. super super cute. check it out online here coz there isn't one bad thing.

broadway market = FOOD

 no where near hackney
um yer it is
 that bag has legs

 best burgers going round.
banoffee is huge over here

broadway is one of my favs and i'm almost always hung when we head there. just a small food/crafts/clothes market on saturdays. it's mainly food and boy is the food good. i always get a lamb n mint burger w/cheese and onions. totes epic. my menu consisted of mini sweet potato n leek pie, onion baha indian thing, smoked salmon on sourdough w/ cream cheese, burger, banana n walnut bread and a take home caramelized apple cheesecake. wooo! lucky/unlucky we got a little bit lost and was walking loads. we totes deserved lovely little market food treats. mmm mmmm mmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

front room aka Amber and TC's

 upstairs

hallway and man cave to the right
best room in da house!(mine) it's always this clean

our house in the middle of ethnic ville. we are like the only whites. def the only australians. we have a offy one door down. super bad for mid evening munchies. i swear he's going to make me fat with chocolate that close. westfield stratford is a 15 min walk away or 2min train. theres a backyard and a man cave. living, kitchen, 1 bathroom and 4 rooms. it's a place where we all can hang up our hats and kick back on our one couch or round the dinner table with our 4 chairs, enjoy the company of each other with a game of cards or listen into our next door neighbour yell and hit her kids. hey at least i have a bed. with the best sheets. ❤

zoology

i went on a little outing yesterday to the national zoology museum and it has been one of the coolest most interesting places that i've been to here in london. i found out about it on the web under "free things to see in london" and i'm well glad that i set out to see it. it was only a small square room but it had i'm presuming over a thousands of animal specimens and skeletons, with old labels on them, in jars preserved and some rare. i found it pretty cool that they had a tasmanian tiger skeleton, also a dodo and an elephant bird egg. i'd just seen a documentary on my plane journey either to here or thailand, from one of my favorite people david attenborough about such a bird. i snapped heaps more photos and if you want to check them out head to my flickr it's just more of the same. all in all i really enjoyed myself.
